Ten Years Later

A sense of anxiety stirs within as we look back on the events ten years ago but the Word of God is ever a source of insight.  As we read the prayers of David, we echo his thoughts as well. “May the evil plans of my enemies be turned against them.” (Psalm 54:5 NLT) Thinking about the events of 9-11, it is disturbing to our souls but we can pray prayers like David prayed, “Surely God is my help, the LORD is the one who sustains me...” (Psalm 54:4a NIV) and “When my spirit grows faint within me, it is you who know my way.” (Psalm 142:3 NIV). Lord, would you please put a hedge of protection around us, around our troops and around our country.  Thank You for your providence and protection. Amen.

Back Home

it's been a good day...a time of reconnecting with the people at Pillsbury and Saron after an eleven day vacation. And it was good to break Bread together at both places.
